Doris Jui is the Director of the Information Resource Center at the University of Miami.  This branch library which, specializes in the subject discipline of business, is a virtual library and is the first library of its kind within the University Libraries system.  As Director of the Information Resource Center, she is responsible for managing all aspects of the business library’s operations.  This includes budgeting, contract negotiations, hiring/training staff, policy formation, collection development, circulation, research services, instructional programs, digital initiatives, and facilities.  She has represented the University libraries’ interests in university-wide committees such the Faculty Senate, Information Technology Advisory Committee, and Women & Minorities.  She has been instrumental in the reaccreditation process for the University’s Miami Herbert Business School and submitted reports to the Business School’s Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Commission on Accreditation Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) reaccreditation team. 

Ms. Jui is a member of national library associations such as American Library Association (ALA) and Special Libraries Association (SLA); and has served as an Advisory Board Member to digital database vendors such as Standard & Poor’s, INFORMS, and Gale Cengage Learning. 

Her consulting work with organizations has focused on business planning, research strategies, and program development.  She holds both a M.L.I.S. from the University of South Florida and a M.B.A. from the University of Miami.
