Saily earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida International University (FIU) in 2018, along with a certificate in Technical and Professional Writing. During her time at FIU, she worked in the Interlibrary Loan Department at the Steven and Dorothea Green Library until 2018.
In August 2018, Saily began her role as a Senior Library Assistant at the Louis Calder Memorial Library, part of the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. There, she engaged in various projects, joined the library's marketing group, and completed an internship with the Learning, Research, and Clinical Information Services Department (LRCIS).
In the spring of 2022, Saily earned her Master's in Information Science from Florida State University. By October 2022, she had taken on the role of Nursing & Health Studies, Psychology, and Biology Librarian. In 2023, she received her Systematic Review Services Specialization (SRSS) Certificate from the Medical Library Association. In 2024, Saily served as co-chair of the Professional Development Committee. She has collaborated on numerous projects, including citation management workshops, the creation of the 19th Century Female Physicians traveling exhibit, and mentoring students through the Library Research Scholars Program.
