Saily earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida International University (FIU) in 2018, with a certificate in Technical and Professional Writing. While at FIU she worked at the Steven and Dorothea Green Library’s Interlibrary Loan Department until 2018. In August 2018, she began working as a Senior Library Assistant in the University of Miami’s Louis Calder Memorial Library in the Miller School of Medicine. There she participated in various projects, joined the library’s marketing group, and did her internship with the Learning, Research, and Clinical Information Services Department (LRCIS).

In Spring of 2022 she earned her Master’s in Information Science from Florida State University. In October 2022, she became the Nursing & Health Studies, Psychology, and Biology Librarian. In 2023 she earned her Systematic Review Services Specialization (SRSS) Certificate from the Medical Library Association. She has collaborated with other colleagues in various projects like citation management workshops, creating the 19th Century Female Physicians traveling exhibit, and mentored students as part of the Library Research Scholars Program.
