Jackson Resident Remote Access Issues:
Pre-quarantine Jackson residents had to appear in person at Calder to receive access. With remote work this is no longer an option. In the case a Jackson resident contacts the Research Desk for access help, direct them to fill out this form:
Calder Library Online Remote Access Application
A copy of the resident's badge is required for verification of status. If the resident is new and does not yet have a JHS badge, forward requests to libraryservices@miami.edu.

UM Researcher Funding
This guide provides information on open access publishing support provided by the University of Miami Libraries. The Libraries have established publishing agreements (some are pilot programs) which provide researchers with qualifying articles the possibility of APC (article publishing charge) funding.
In addition, the University of Miami Libraries manages the Scholarship@Miami research repository which allows authors to publish green open access, if their author agreement allows.
Scholarship@Miami
Items in Scholarship@Miami include published articles, UM theses and dissertations, data sets, conference papers, proceedings, lectures, projects, reports, presentations, performances, and other scholarly work and research output.
